Andy and Tammera have been married 27 years, with 3 children and have lived in New Braunfels for the last 10 years. After Tammera spent 11 years as a stay at home Mom and Andy’s 20 years in professional sales with Dell, Rackspace and Herff Jones – the Schultz’s were looking for a different and better opportunity. They had experienced the corporate world with all the benefits and drawbacks.
As they decided to start their own business, they felt it needed to be a very high quality product, with high levels of service that they could be passionate about. 6 years earlier the Schultz’s had been introduced to Nature’s Select as a pet food offering while living in Flower Mound, Tx. Tammera really liked the home delivery and both of them were impressed with the difference in their dogs coat and muscle tone after less than a month of feeding the Chicken, Lamb and Rice formula. Slick the Wiener Dog was crazy about the flavor and the blend helped keep his weight in check. Now with Slick long gone, our pets Faith (9 year old Yellow Lab) and Grace (10 year old Russian Blue) are the official Nature Select of South Texas quality control managers.
Andy was focused on finding a business opportunity that they could really put their heart and hard work into. What they both noticed immediately was that Nature’s Select had a unique business model with advantages that other pet foods did not have. The quality of the nutrition was excellent. The price (in an almost direct business model) was lower and it included FREE Delivery. The food seemed fresher and more easily digested by their pets and both were happy to see it was made in Texas. This value proposition seemed like an easy decision for most pet food customers.
After success in the San Antonio market, Andy and Tammera jumped at the chance to include Austin and Corpus Christi.
The Schultz’s invite you to add value to your pet’s nutrition, while adding convenience and help with pet food cost. Don’t hesitate to call us with question in regards to pet nutrition and your pet’s health.
